The book (ISBN 0-9705242-0-X, $24.95), was created by Susan Ann Stelfox out of her own frustration at not finding a one-stop source for advice during those first precious, vital weeks—when she became a first-time new mom at age 40. Stelfox, a breast cancer survivor, had built prodigious research skills in her quest for information about her disease, and used those skills to absorb and organize everything she could find about new-baby development.
